#BodyLOVE Week 1 - Cottage Weekend and Winner

How did everyone's first week of the #BodyLOVE Challenge go? Is that scale still hidden? Have you done something nice for yourself yet this week? I have absolutely LOVED getting all of your Instagram pics and Twitter updates this week! Keep them coming! It has been so nice to see your progress and to be able to encourage each other! This weeks #BodyLOVE winner is...
@waterlilyTO - one of your Instagram entries was randomly selected!
Congrats Girlie!! Please email me so we can organize getting you your Wave Sayonaras

Don't distress if you didn't win this week friends! I still have 3 pairs to giveaway and 3 more weeks of the #BodyLOVE challenge to go! So lets continue to make this summer all about Health, Happiness, and LOVE!
Speaking of Health, Happiness, and LOVE...I am currently loading up the car and getting ready to head to cottage country for the weekend. And I gotta admit I am looking forward to some downtime with my hubby and a few great friends!

I treated myself this week to a few cottage essentials - including 2 pairs of summer shorts and a new tank! It has literally been 5 years since I bought myself a pair of "real" shorts (aka not running shorts). Bananas - I know! So this was a real #BodyLOVE treat!
I also made a special trip to my local health food store to stock up on some tummy friendly items. Normally I would just let loose and enjoy my weekend away - beer, chips, burgers, and all. But my recent tummy troubles mean that I have to do a good job nourishing my body (*le sigh*), so I can hopefully say bye-bye Ulcer soon! So I loaded up on veggie burgers, Kale Chips, and Kombucha instead!

I am also packing my running shoes! I love running somewhere new, and I definitely looking forward to squeezing in a couple training runs while I am away. Gotta keep that crazy run coach of mine happy! (*Love You Michelle*)

More than anything though, I am looking forward to a little downtime. I have been on the go a ton this past month, which has left me playing catch-up. It has been hard to disconnect and just be present - this is something I really need to work on. So this weekend I am leaving my textbooks and computer at home. I am just going to enjoy spending some quality time with a few of my favourite people, and come back feeling refreshed and ready to tackle it all next week. For now the to-do list can wait!

How are you going to relax over the next few days?

Hope you all have a SUPER-DUPER weekend!
Love your Favourite Darwinian Fail,
