Happy Heart Project - Your Body

It is Week 2 of the Happy Heart Project and this week I want to remind you to LOVE YOUR BODY!

Because after all this why we make these healthy choices. The same rules apply, and another pair of Mizuno Running Shoes is up for grabs!  We are asking you to make a commitment to your Heart this month! And that means we want you to get moving! The Heart and Stroke Foundation recommends 30 minutes of moderate exercise 5x a week to maintain a Happy Healthy Heart. So let's thank our hearts this month for all that they do! And Rock It Out!! 

This week's musical message of Body Love and Happy Hearts is from Miss Diva Christina. (*and yes I realize that this song has some...ahem...sexual undertones...but bare with me!*)

 So don’t even tell me your name. All I need to know is whose place. And let’s get walking...
No, literally let's get walking. Or yoga-ing. Or swimming. Or cycling. Or running. Or really just any sort of movement at all. This week let's commit to get moving. I am still on restricted activity, but I will be getting out this week for some nice hikes with Mr. Clark to start the rebuilding process. I am committed to a 30 min hike each day this week. So Let's Go!

All I wanna do is love your body.
And I want you to LOVE your body too! You only get one. And yours is amazing, strong, and beautiful.

It took a long time for me learn to love mine. But despite its flaws, I can finally see all of its beauty. The scars that mark my skin signify the hard battle we have fought and the strength it possesses. It has been a tough year, and I know it has been hard on both of I us. I have asked a lot of my body, but I have learned to love my body better now. I will never forget all that it is, or question what it is capable of. We are in this together.

 Tonight’s your lucky night, I know you want it.
